Central Montana Farm to School Workshop in Winnett, MT Saturday, April 27th
Are you curious about increasing access to nutritious, Montana-grown foods? Join Snowy Mountain Development, National Center for Appropriate Technology, Winnett ACES, MT Farm to School, and partners for the Central Montana Farm to School Workshop.This workshop will feature training on how to use Harvest of the Month to promote Montana grown and raised foods in your community, interactive agricultural education activities, local procurement, and what resources are available to you. Attendees will get to hear from the ranchers and school staff members who developed Winnett’s successful beef to school program. Six Continuing Education Units and six Early Childhood Project credits will be offered for educators.
