4-H Horse Program
The mission of the Teton County Horse Committee is to aid in the development, education, and safety of 4-H members taking horse projects in 4-H in Teton County.
Purposes:
- To maintain and strengthen the 4-H program by assisting Montana State University Extension.
- To promote educational 4-H club, county, state and national activities.
- To give leaders and members a forum for offering suggestions, exchanging ideas, completing county/district/state activities or projects, and to develop a comprehensive county 4-H program.
Horse Committee Membership:
All currently enrolled 4-H members and leaders may self-select to join the Teton County 4-H Horse Committee. This may be done through enrollment forms and committee selection forms in autumn each year. Members may join at any time until Dec 1 of each year.
Horse Risk Release Forms:
Horse Project Waiver & Helmet Policy are available electronically when enrolling for 4-H using ZSuite.

We will grant exceptions on rules at the county show upon request prior to the show.

4-Hers need to be aware those exceptions will not be allowed if they move on to the state show.
