MISSION STATEMENT

To provide education and promote programs in the area of 4-H livestock. To insure fair and equitable participation and treatment of all youth involved in the program.

OBJECTIVES

To encourage 4-H members to learn as much as possible about livestock while developing leadership skills, a sense of responsibility, initiative and self-reliance.
 
To promote and develop good sportsmanship in all aspects of the program.

Livestock Education

It is necessary for 4-H members to attend livestock education workshops when available.

4-H’er MUST attend a Livestock Quality Assurance workshop as a junior (13 years old and younger) and as a senior (14 years and older).

The Cascade County 4-H Livestock Leaders host two project days through the year. All project days are held at the MSU Cascade County Extension office.

The Cascade County 4-H Livestock Leaders also host numerous livestock workshops from showmanship clinics, fitting clinics, jackpot shows, etc.
