Students Must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have completed all of their high school requirements.
- Identify as an individual with an intellectual /developmental disability.
- Be able to follow the MSU Student Code of Conduct.
- be willing to accept redirection.
- Have basic independence skills.
- Independently care for their personal hygiene.
- Have a strong desire to attend college!
On-campus housing is available on a limited basis for individuals with strong independent living skills.
Interested students may complete the housing section in the application.

— Program Costs —
The cost of the MSU LIFE Scholars Program = MSU tuition and fees + a $500/semeseter program fee.

- The number of classes a student chooses to enroll in will determine the overall cost.
- Students may also purchase a commuter meal plan for an additional cost.
- The MSU housing costs will apply to any LIFE Scholar who lives in the dorms.
Student payment options include: private pay, scholarships, grants,
vocational rehabilitation benefits or Pell grants awarded through FAFSA.
