What is the Gold Standard Program?
Gold Standard is Montana State University’s on-campus student employment and leadership program. As part of the Gold Standard Program, students will find a job on campus while also receiving access to impactful professional development and leadership opportunities. These opportunities help students develop career competencies to be successful as a student employee, in internships and beyond MSU. Self-assessment tools, career coaches, employers and on-campus professionals are all resources that contribute to these professional development opportunities!
The National Association of Colleges and Employers has developed a list of essential competencies necessary for college graduates to master to be competitive in the workplace. Our Gold Standard representatives are committed to ensuring students develop the necessary career competencies, while easing the process of recruiting for our on-campus partners.
