MCOM EAP Program
The Early Acceptance Program seeks to provide opportunities for qualified students enrolled at MSU to become osteopathic medical students at RVU-MCOM, with the goal of training local students to be able to eventually provide healthcare to the people of the Mountain West region.
Representatives from both institutions will work together to identify and mentor eligible
qualified pre-med students during their enrollment at MSU to provide a defined pathway
to be granted early provisional acceptance to RVU-MCOM following successful completion
of a baccalaureate degree at MSU. Students who do not have the academic preparation
for medical school, and/or do not meet the admissions requirements for admission to
RVU-MCOM may be provided with the opportunity to enter the Master of Medical Sciences
(MMS) program at the RVU-Montana campus.
The requirement to take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) will be waived for
EAP students as long as they continue to meet all program requirements.
