International applicants: It is highly recommended that you attend one of our international sessions on Friday, November 8 OR Thursday, November 14. We have time slots at 8 am (MST time), 12 pm (MST time) and 4 pm (MST time). The Office of International Programs (OIP) will explain the international application process, requisites and answering your questions.

Registration for the VIRTUAL SESSIONS is simple:

  1. Register for each event you want to attend with your name and email. Please review the program information prior to the session; in this, you can be better prepared with questions not already addressed on websites.
  2. You will promptly receive a confirmation email for each event.
  3. Your registration will then be accepted and you will receive a second confirmation email for each event.
    The email will contain a unique  "Join Meeting" button associated with that particular event, your name and email. If you want friends to join, please share the URL of this page and have them register - you will not be able to share your invite!

Registration for the IN-PERSON SESSIONS is also simple:

  1. Register for each session you want to attend with your name and emai following the link. Please complete all questions and get ready to come prepared to meet with MSU and other universities' representatives.
  2. You will receive a couple of reminders for the event. However we encourage you to save the date and mark your calendar as soon as possible.
  3. We highly recommend to attend the In-person Grad Fair since 9:00 am. as you will hear very specific tips and tricks regarding the application process, funding your education and how grad life is. With that information, you will be better prepared for when the booths open.

The Graduate School General Session.

Attendees are welcome to stay for the second hour as shown below.

This session will cover topics from when the appropriate time to apply to graduate school is, who makes a good reference for graduate school, to how to write a statement of purpose. We will cover aspects of what it means to be 'funded' and how to secure a faculty advisor for programs that require this as part of the application process. There will be an opportunity during the second half to ask questions to various MSU offices' representatives to learn their thoughts and insights.

Community Discussion:  First-Generation Students, TRIO/MCNAIR Scholars
 
In the same Webex room: You can join at 1 pm for this specific section or join from noon for our general session.
 
This unique session will open a conversation about the MSU community and how we work together for graduate student success. We will dive into the unique programs on campus, answer questions about programs and cover information on applying to Montana State University graduate programs. In attendance and contributing to the dialog will be several people from across campus:
