Research and Creativity

The Research & Creativity activities of the Center for Faculty Excellence are focused on supporting faculty scholarship and communication to enhance its significance and impact and expand interdisciplinary scholarship. With guidance from the Research Capacity Subcommittee, we provide workshops and one-on-one consultations on grant proposal writing, publications, identifying and connecting with potential collaborators, and support for career development. We provide mentor training and support Retention, Tenure and Promotion training. We do this keeping in mind our goal of creating an inclusive environment where diversity and individual difference are understood, respected, appreciated, and recognized as a source of strength.

MSU Research Alliance

We are part of the Research Alliance, a consortium of units across campus that includes the Office of Research Development, the Center for Faculty Excellence, the MSU Library, and Research Cyberinfrastructureworking together to support and increase the excellence of the university's research enterprise.
