Teen Leadership & Exchange Programs
Sanders County 4-H Ambassador Program
Would you like to join a motivated 4-H team? Do you have a great idea for a 4-H event, community service or project? Would you like to work with other enthusiastic members from around the county? Then you would be a great fit for the 4-H county ambassador team. Whether you have a lot of time, or a little, whether you like to work behind the scenes or lead out in front of a crowd. We welcome your ideas and commitment! Open to members grades 6-12.
Teen Project Leader
Senior 4-H members (high school age) may enroll as a teen leader in any project of their choice. Teen leaders help organize project meetings and teach subject matter content to other youth. Those enrolled as livestock or horse teen leaders are encouraged to provide input on the county livestock and horse committees as well.
County Council Delegate
Each club is asked to designate a youth member to attend and participate in county council meetings. County council meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm every other month starting in February. Youth participation is valuable!
