Ag and Natural Resources
MSU MontGuidesAgriculture, Natural Resource, & 4-H Extension AgentCody Ream |
Hello all, I am Cody Ream, the Ag Extension Agent here in Fergus and Petroleum Counties. My background is primarily in animal science with an emphasis in cattle. Growing up in North Central Washington agriculture has been a major part of my life since a young age, although there were a lot more trees involved. My introduction to livestock was through FFA, where I raised market hogs and participated in livestock judging, meat judging, and dairy products. Later at the University of Idaho I was more heavily involved in cattle, where I grew my knowledge. After obtaining a B.S. degree in Animal Science and a year off, I decided to return to school and pursue an M.S. degree. Upon finishing my coursework, I took a job working at a commercial feedlot in Eastern WA for about a year before moving to Lewistown to become the new Ag Extension Agent! |
