Counseling & Psychological Services

CPS has many free and confidential services available to assist students during their time at MSU.  Services include: brief individual counseling, group counseling, brief couples counseling, consultation, self-help resources, crisis intervention, assistance with community referrals, and seminars and presentations on mental health topics.

The MSU Voice Center

The MSU VOICE Center provides free and confidential services and information for all people impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and harassment; including friends, family, and loved ones of survivors. Advocates are available 24-hours a day to provide confidential support, information, and discuss different options.

Founded in 1883, the Modern Language Association (MLA) is a leading academic professional organization in the US that promotes scholarship of languages and literature.  MLA refers to the style recommended for preparing scholarly manuscripts and student research papers. It concerns itself with the mechanics of writing, such as punctuation, quotation, and especially, documentation of sources.

The Writing Center supports students as they develop written communication skills along with providing one-on-one tutoring, resources for writing, writing group facilitation, and workshop facilitation that complement and support students' classroom instruction.

MSU Math and Stat Center (MSC)

MSC is a drop-in tutoring center for students in eligible courses and assists students to obtain the necessary study skills to communicate course material effectively and take responsibility for their own learning.
