Read pages 20-24 of the Guide to Implementing the Alaska Cultural Standards for Educators and complete the self-assessment and analysis of standard C. In a written, video, or audio submission do the following:
- summarize your analysis (you do not need to turn in your actual answers to the questions on page 24);
- identify between one and three competencies from the Librarian or Library frameworks in the National School Library Standards that connect to Standard C in the Alaska Cultural Standards for Educators; and
- explain what you might do to further develop of Standard C and the identified competencies from the National School Library Standards AND how that development has the potential to improve your leadership skills.

In the module discussion board, participate in the discussion in response to the following prompt.
You should post to the conversation three separate times. You do not need to create a new thread but may respond to a classmate. Consider this a conversation rather than a bunch of individual postings.
- How do you demonstrate vulnerability and confidence in your leadership practice?
- What difference have you made/hope to make in your school culture as a school librarian leader?
- What moments of leadership are you most proud of? What did those moments look like? Who did those moments impact?
Grow
Complete the module checklist and answer the reflection questions and submit to your instructor per their directions. If you do not believe a statement is true, do not check the box. This is a check in and an opportunity to get assistance from the instructor; it is not graded work. Note that some of the checklist items will repeat each week, while others are unique to the specific module.
