- Call to Order
President Waded Cruzado
President Cruzado called meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. - Approval of Minutes for November 4, 2020
Royce Smith moved to approve minutes; Tracy Ellig seconded and the minutes were approved unanimously.
- University Wide Information/Announcements
This is the last meeting of the fall semester. President Cruzado shared how thankful she’s been of everyone’s hard work this year at MSU, Extension, Museum of the Rockies and our affiliated campuses.
Rolf Groseth shared MSU Billings’ virtual commencement will be aired Nov. 21, 2020. Judge Sid Thomas is their honored speaker.
Stefani Hicswa has hit the ground running and has come to visit with her family. President Cruzado thanked Chancellor Groseth for his call to serve and for all his hard work.
Greg Kegel said Northern is doing well in response to Covid-19 and campus is responding well. They are looking ahead to the end of the semester.
Susan Wolff has unable to attend but President Cruzado shared her update verbally:
GFC MSU nursing graduates passed their NCLEX boards with a 91.2% passing rate even with the COVID disruption. National average is 87.53 and state average is 89.29. Construction on the dental addition is moving forward well. Respiratory Therapy is being proposed to the BOR to come out of moratorium as part of the newly created OneMSU Workforce Consortium. The program will be offered remotely with clinicals and labs held in Bozeman and Billings. Pre-requisites taken at those campuses/colleges. RT classes start Fall ’21.

Kellie shared there was one comment. Jason Carter is hoping to make this easier and user friendly on an annual basis.The policy revision was passed unanimously.

President Cruzado shared her thanks to University Information Technology to adapt and welcome their department so warmly. Noelle and Jenna have been passionate about building the First Year Cat Walk. President Cruzado asked Jeannette for HR to develop a system to use campuswide and throughout OneMSU.
Chris Fastnow, Vice President, Office of Planning & AnalysisChris shared Fall Tenurable Faculty FTE by Funding Source – very close to our headcount, as well as non tenurable FTE.
She shared Staff FTE by Funding Source. There was a little dip this fall from Auxiliaries and Culinary Services.
Headcount for Fall 2020 is 16, 249 students. Undergraduate enrollment is 12, 881.
Retention and Graduate Rates are up and we should be very proud of this accomplishment. 14-point increase and represents almost tripling from 2010 to 2020 earning their degrees in a timely fashion. Freshman 15 has been instrumental in improving these numbers.

President Cruzado thanked Tami Eitle for her service to MSU and the accredition report was well received.
