- Call to Order
President Waded Cruzado- President Waded Cruzado called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM.
- Approval of Minutes for May 6th, 2015
- There was a motion to approve the minutes for May 6th, 2015, and Kregg Aytes seconded the motion. The minutes were approved unanimously.
- University Wide Information/ Announcements
- President Cruzado introduced MSU's new legal counsel, Kellie Peterson, and thanked her for her seamless transition.
- Freshman Convocation was a huge success!
- President Cruzado shared her congratulations with Dean Arlitsch our Library for obtaining the papers of Ivan Doig.

- President's Commission on Substance Abuse Prevention
Chris Kearns, Vice President of Student Success
Matt Caires, Dean of Students- Chris Kearns presented a one page informational sheet regarding the Commission. Chris and Matt will be presenting to various groups on campus and in the Bozeman community over the next month to share plan. Jim Mitchell introduced Marci Torres, MSU's Assistant Director of Student Health Service, who also supports the plan. President Cruzado thanked the Commission for their extensive work on this project and asked for collaboration from University Council.
- Sponsored Programs for Children and Youth - Revised MSU Policy
Kellie Peterson, Legal Counsel- Kellie Peterson presented the Revised Sponsored Programs for Children and Youth policy. Kellie highlighted one small change on page two of the policy relating to background checks. President Cruzado called for comments and requested that the item be brought up for a vote at the October 7th meeting.
- Student Bill of Rights
Gwynnn Simeniuk, ASMSU President- The Student Bill of Rights moved to an "Old Item" as it was discussed at the May meeting. Gwynn Simeniuk asked for comments to be collected throughout September as well, thus it will return for a vote in October.

- Fiscal Misconduct - Affiliated Campuses Policy
Daniel Adams, Director, Audit Services- Kellie Peterson presented the Fiscal Misconduct Policy on behalf of Daniel Adams. Randy Babbitt, Chair of Faculty Senate, offered a series of comments. Ilse-Mari Lee, Dean of the Honors College, requested that we circulate the policy again addressing these comments and bring the policy back for a vote at October's meeting.

Chris Fastnow, Director, Office of Planning & Analysis- Chris Fastnow provided an update on Planning Council's Prioritization Process for 2016-2017
- Strategic Plan Update: Integration Goal
Chris Fastnow, Director, Office of Planning & Analysis- Chris Fastnow provided an update on the Integration Goal of the Strategic Plan. There are six metrics MSU is using to measure success. President Cruzado applauded the creativity of the Integration tool.
