Campus Cleanup

Each year, Landscape & Grounds along with other campus partners hosts an annual campus clean up which typically happens before Spring Commencement. This partnership tackles waste on campus to beautify the MSU Campus going into the late spring.

Event Impact

This event provides an opportunity to demonstrate that together we can make a difference. While the over-riding purpose of the event is to ensure our campus looks its best for past, future, and current students as well as visitors, it touches many other community aspects.  The quality of our storm water, and therefore the quality of our surface waters like Mandeville and Bozeman Creeks, is increased by removing potential litter load to the system.  We learn through active participation that our individual behaviors, whether littering or picking it up, make a real difference in the quality of the environment we all share.  Lastly, it shows care and pride for our community and MSU.
