Office of Extension Additional Office Space: Culbertson Hall
Description of Request
Submitted By: Leslie Schroeder, Assistant to the Director of Extension
Office of Extension requests the use of Culbertson 205 for the newly created, Associate
Director of Research Development for Extension and Engagement position that is being
shared between Extension and Office of Sponsored Programs. This position has been
filled, and the individual has an expected start date of April 24th. This space is
ideal for the new hire, as it would keep them adjacent to the central Extension office.
Currently, Culbertson 205 is a hoteling space managed by Space Planning and Management,
but it is underutilized. The space management policy requires the preservation of
overflow and flexible space; therefore, staff is exploring the possibility of relocating
the hoteling space to the third floor where there are some anticipated vacancies.
In the interim, the furniture will be moved into the existing hoteling space in room
206.
Resolution
Date: April 7, 2023
Space Management Committee has approved the allocation of Culbertson 205 to the newly appointed Associate Director of Research Development for Extension & Engagement.
