Office of Research Compliance Additional Office Space: Lewis Hall
Description of Request
Submitted By: Kirk Lubick, Director, Office of Research Compliance
The Office of Research Compliance (ORC) has recently relocated into Lewis Hall, which was allocated by Space Management Committee in October of 2022. Now that the group is occupying the space, they have expressed a need for more storage for general office supplies and equipment. To accommodate all the needs of the department, they have requested to occupy Lewis Hall 103, which is currently vacant and has not been requested by any other party. Room 103 will be used for storage, but will also create opportunities to shuffle staff around to create some additional efficiencies, including moving a staff member into room 103. Room 101E will be repurposed to store records being relocated from Marsh Modular 2, and for storing general Biosafety supplies. The allocation of additional space will allow for utilization that is more effective for ORC operations as well as allow for the consolidation of records and equipment in one location.
Resolution
