MSU AMONG TOP U.S. RESEARCH UNIVERSITIES IN CARNEGIE CLASSIFICATION
Montana State University remains one of the top research universities in the country, according to classifications published by the Indiana University Center for Postsecondary Research’s Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.
RETIRED NURSING PROFESSOR CREATES ENDOWED PROFESSORSHIP
A charitable endowment given by Kathleen Chafey, a former director of an MSU program that provides support for indigenous students pursuing nursing degrees, will help support the program in the years to come.

MSU’s College of Education, Health and Human Development will host a celebration of the college’s outstanding teaching, research and engagement. The program includes interactive demonstrations, live music, an art show, and presentations from award-winning faculty.

As part of its efforts to address the health and wellness of indigenous and rural communities in Montana and beyond, Montana State University is offering a new doctoral program in Indigenous and Rural Health. Faculty from a number of MSU colleges will teach program courses.
