Innovation Campus map

The MSU Innovation Campus is a collision space for partnerships among industry and MSU researchers, opportunities for student internships and employment, and a hub for collaborative innovation that fuels economic development in Montana & beyond.

 

Innovation Campus unit identifier In the past year, MSUIC has:
  • begun construction of the 78,000 sq. ft. Aurora building and the 88,000 sq. ft. EngineWorks building;
  • completed construction on the road and sidewalk network. The total amount spent on the road network and landscaping is $4 million.
  • completed an extensive master planning process that will allow for up to 1 million sq. ft. of development on the Innovation Campus.

The LaunchPad is a campus resource for MSU students, faculty, and alumni focused or interested in entrepreneurship and innovation. Key resources include consults, mentorship, networking, and signature events including the Big Idea Challenge and the $100K Venture Competition.  We help the MSU community bring their ideas to life.

Montana Manufacturing Extension Center (MMEC)

The Montana Manufacturing Extension Center is a statewide manufacturing outreach and assistance center staffed by full-time professionals with extensive experience in manufacturing and business. Housed in MSU’s Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering, MMEC serves the manufacturers of Montana by helping them assess and improve their manufacturing operations, providing trainings and workforce development, and leveraging research and technology to keep manufacturing competitive in the state. Office of Technology Translation Research (OTTR)

The Office of Technology Translation Research assists organizations in advancing technology through the Valley of Death (VoD) to transform ideas into inventions that are then implemented by the end user. OTTR provides direct assistance with experienced resources to catalyze technology translation to increase speed and agility.
