a. Tomas Gedeon moves to approve. Ed Dratz seconds. None opposed. Approved.
III. Conferral of Degrees – Registrar Tony Campeau
a. Grades due Tuesday the 17th. Please get grades in before you are off contract.
b. Presents Spring 2022 Degree Candidates.

i. Questions
A. What options are there for housing?
1. Can we do other things that could clear up some of their funds for housing?
i. Stipend check?
ii. Meal plans?
2. Want to leave more cash in their pocket for rent.
3. NIL: Some athletes are getting paid; some aren’t at all.
B. How is NIL working out?
1. They let us know if someone contacts them and we make sure they are following all of the rules and doing the things they need to do.
2. Many are under $500. Hasn’t gotten out of hand yet.
3. A few have been gifted vehicles to drive from different dealerships in town.
C. What are the chances athletes would come to MSU through the portal?
1. May 1st was the deadline to put your name in for the next year.
2. We also recruit out of the portal.
3. We will also lose some.
D. Can you come back once you’ve left?
1. Once you’ve left, at the end of that term we can take your scholarship.
