· Western Lands and People Center approved
· $24M budget reduction had been “downgraded” to $13M, still being discussed
· Tuition increases are likely
· Romney Hall renovation proposal has a pulse
· New Budget allocation model was announced
IV. Nominee for Faculty Senate Chair-Elect
· Dr. Abigail Richards, Associate Professor, Chemical and Biological Engineering
o Christine Anderson moved to suspend the rule to proceed to a vote, Brett Olsen seconded, approved.
o Bill Brown moved to elect Dr. Richards, Rebecca Koltz seconded, approved.

· Jason Bolte gave an overview of the College of Arts and Architecture discussions with COE/CS.
· Mike Wittie moved for discussion of the proposed amendment attached; Christine Anderson seconded. The amendment was opened for discussion. Not voted on.
· Mike Wittie moved for discussion to partner with only BA generating departments, Scott Creel seconded. The amendment was opened for discussion. One in favor, two abstentions, failed.
