MSU Extension Silver Bow County
The MSU Extension Office in Butte Silver Bow fulfills the land grant mission of Montana State University by reaching out or "extending" resources to citizens through non-formal, non-credit educational programs. The office is a partnership between Butte Silver Bow, Montana State University Extension and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Services and information available at the Butte Silver Bow Extension office include:
- 4-H Youth Development Program information and support
- Family Consumer Science information
- SNAP Education programming related to healthy eating, food safety and physical activity (once this position is filled)
