Josie Hamilton called the meeting to order at 3:05 PM. Josie led the pledges.
Minute Approval
The minutes from the previous meeting stand approved.

Treasurer:
- Looking for a youth member to be treasurer.
Secretary:
- Augustus Caudle would like to be the secretary.
- Augustus Caudle made a motion to become secretary. Josie seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved.

Youth Council would like the exhibitor handbook dress code updated.

Current Wording:
- Dress Code: Plain white button-up collared shirt (long or short-sleeved, not sleeveless), dark pants (not yoga pants or leggings), and black tie are required for both the show and sale unless noted otherwise under individual species’ section. Hard soled shoes or boots are recommended for safety. No flip flops or sandals.

- Suggest a dance and charge an entry fee. More discussion to take place on this topic.

Marketing Proposal
- It has been asked that the Youth Council consider having members be required to contact at least three buyers. Proof would be the signature from each potential buyer.
- Suggested gift cards as an incentive to complete this requirement. The more buyers’ signatures acquired the more chances to win. Three prizes total for the drawing.

- Quality Assurance
- Two Quality Assurance sessions will take place this year.
- Every animal (excluding horse, dog, cat and pocket pets) must attend once every three years.
- This is required even if you are not taking a market animal.
- Winter Teen Retreat
- Need more youth volunteers for this event.
