Leadership Academy Monthly Workshops
Members 12+, 4-H Age
County Leadership groups should plan to meet face to face whenever possible and engage in the virtual state wide workshop together.
This time can be viewed as a leadership club meeting. County ambassadors can aid in planning and facilitating these local workshop meetings. The following agenda is currently being planned.
All workshops are held on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 to 4:00. Zoom links for each workshop session will be emailed to county and traibal MSU Extension offices and can be shared locally.
November 17
Dare to Be Exceptional:Discovering Your Gifts & Capacities
Presented by Sheila Hamlen from Meagher County
This workshop will teach participants about channeling their natural abilitiesas well as skills they have learned, and how to use those skills to better their lives and the lives of those around them!

Working with Adults as Partners
Presented by Stella Duran from Lewis & Clark County
In this Leadership Academy we will work to understand professional and positive interactions when working with adults in 4-H and the community. You can use these skills to make a positive first impression!
January 12
Icebreaker 101
Prsented by Cadence Sims from Yellowstone County
In this workshop you will get an inside look on what makes a good icebreaker and how to keep your audience engaged. With a group and a State Ambassador you will brainstorm and design your own icebreaker!
February 9
Leading With Confidence
Presented by Bonnie Radke from Gallatin County
This workshop will teach attendees about how to be confident, but not arrogant. Learn all about how to grow your confidence through leadership and how to use it properly.
March 16
Collective Leadership
Presented by Morgan Sites from Park County
This leadership academy will focus on leadership within a group. Attendees will learn about common problems that occur within committees, why they arise, and how to solve them.
