Dying Without a Will in Montana
Single, No Living Children, No Living Grandchildren, Living Great-Grandchildren,Situation #3 Example
Example
Survivors are great-grandchildren only.
Assume you pass away without a written will. None of your children or grandchildren are living. All of your assets are divided per capita among your five living great-grandchildren.
Each of your great-grandchildren receives 1/5.
If this is not the division you desire, then you need to write a will.
