Human Development & Family Science – B.S. in Human Development & Family Science

The Human Development & Family Science option in the Human Development & Family Science major at Montana State is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students for careers working with individuals and families, spanning from counseling to social services. Human Development & Family Science students who have completed the degree are able to apply for provisional certification as a Certified Family Life Educator or can go onto graduate study in counseling or social work.

The Human Development & Family Science major at Montana State offers two additional option within the major: Family & Consumer Sciences Education and Child Development. The Human Development & Family Science program also offers three additional minors: Human Development, Personal & Consumer Finance and Family & Consumer Sciences Education (Teaching).
