  1. Call to Order

    President Cruzado called meeting to order at 8:30am.

  2. Approval of Minutes for January 10, 2024  

    Dean Matt Caires moved to approve minutes; John How seconded and the minutes were approved unanimously.

  3. University Wide Information/Annoucements

    President Cruzado welcomed in person Chancellors Greg Kegel, Stefani Hicswa and CEO/Dean Stephanie Erdmann.  She also welcomed Dean Brian Gillespie, new Dean of Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship, to his new role.

  4. Public Comment

    Will DeDominic, ASMSU Involvement Chair, invited University Council members to the ASMSU State of the Union address on February 29 at 6:00pm.

  5. Old Items

    1. Commemorative Tributes Policy Revision
      Justin Arndt, Chief Compliance Officer

      Adopted language to streamline Board of Regents policies and MSUAF policies. The policy was approved unanimously.

  6. New Item

    A. Research Agreements Policy
         Justin Arndt, Chief Compliance Officer

    This new policy will serve as a tool for internal and external partners and clarify types of agreements and when they should be utilized.

    1. Campus Addressing Update
      John How, Associate Vice President, Facilities Management

      Grant Peterson and Lauren Wilcox presented the campus address initiative for physical addresses across campus buildings.
    2. Choosing Promise, Goal 3.3: Campus culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and individual growth
      Chris Fastnow, Director, Office of Planning and Analysis

      Montana State University is working hard on both progress and successes with this goal.

    Campus executives shared around the table updates.
